Hilton Apple Fest Hosts Autumn Decorating Contest for Village Residents

In celebrating its 41st festival, the Hilton Apple Fest is holding an autumn-themed decorating contest open to all Village of Hilton residents. Your porch, yard and front exterior entryway are all a canvas for showing off the beauty and charm of the autumn season in the Village of Hilton.

Join the fun and help our community celebrate the 41st Hilton Apple Fest! First, Second, Third and Grand prizes will be awarded for the four best decorated homes within the village limits:
Grand Prize - $100 Gift Voucher Redeemable at the Apple Fest Merch Tent
First Prize - $75 Gift Voucher Redeemable at the Apple Fest Merch Tent
Second Prize - $50 Gift Voucher Redeemable at the Apple Fest Merch Tent
Third Prize - $25 Gift Voucher Redeemable at the Apple Fest Merch Tent

How to Participate
It’s FREE! Any home in the Village of Hilton is eligible, and your entry décor must be visible from the sidewalk or road. Entrants must reside and be located within the village limits. Please view this map of the village limits for eligibility.

Enter your home today by completing the online entry form or by using the downloadable PDF entry form, which can be printed and mailed to Hilton Apple Fest, c/o Decorating Contest, PO BOX 1, Hilton, NY 14468 by Friday, Sept. 22. You may also drop off a printed entry form in the mail slot of the Apple Fest Office, located in Suite 202 on the 2nd floor of the Village Community Center at 59 Henry St. no later than 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25.

Judging Process
Judging will Occur on Wednesday, Sept. 27, weather permitting. Homeowners need not be present for judging.

Judges will work from a specific list of homes entered in the contest as they go about their duties. Homes for which an entry is not submitted by Monday, Sept. 25 will not be judged and will not be eligible for the contest.

Winners will be contacted and announced on Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Hilton Apple Fest. Prize Vouchers will be available for pick up at the Apple Fest Merch Tent at the festival. Prize vouchers are only valid at the 2023 Hilton Apple Fest Merch Tent, are only valid for new purchases, and must be presented at the time of purchase. Any unused portion of prize vouchers is forfeited upon first use, and is not redeemable for any cash value.
