Leading up to the Apple Fest in October and all throughout the year, you may see a HAF booth at many of our town events. As a non-profit, we work hard during those events to sell raffle tickets that give you a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card. The profits from those raffle ticket sales go to fund our scholarship initiative. Next time you see us, please consider stopping by to purchase a ticket for $1. Many of our applicants shared their experiences volunteering within Hilton and our two recipients are no exception. Both winners shared their incredible history of volunteerism, including participating in the Apple Fest over several years. Both also expressed a desire to continue their education in the healthcare field. In their essays, they impressed upon the committee their passion for giving back, their excitement to engage others in their work and their outstanding compassion.
